For the couple passing thru the arch the transition into a swing is like a circle left then swing. The Couple making the arch can have some fun with twirls out of the arch into a swing.

*A1Courtesy Gate: Gents step to the right, turning your right shoulder to the center as the lady chains across and take the ladies left hand in your right, then gate the lady around the outside in a counterclockwise loop. Lady will travel the same basic path as the courtesy turn. It really provided nice momentum for the circle right.

Gents continue their turn another quarter turn and after your partner passes in front of you, reach out right hands across star with your next neighbor gent and fall in behind your partner. Note, in the hands across star the ladies will travel about 5 places and the gents about 3. Wait out on the ends normal improper.

**As ladies pull by right, Gents take a step right turning your right shoulder into the center and moving your right arm back so ladies can slip left arm around to butterfly whirl position. Progression takes place by gents sending their neighbor off out of the butterfly whirl on a slight right diagonal to their next neighbor lady. Gents then continue to turn counterclockwise another quarter turn or so to be ready to hand across star behind your partner

During the 2nd half of A2, the ladies will essentially repeat what they did in A1 only this time when they meet in the middle push off each other while the men will do half a hey. Tell the ladies to turn towards their partner as they push off nad it flows nicely into the gypsy.

For couple 1 the transition into a swing is like a circle left then swing. Couple 2 can have some fun with twirls out of the arch into a swing
