with live music in the Back Room at the Longbranch Coffeehouse
just across the tracks on the Square in Downtown Carbondale

We do contra and square dances to live, old-time music. All moves taught. Everyone welcome -- no partner, costume, or experience necessary. Kids welcome but please keep an eye on them. There's no charge but a hat will be passed to give the musicians and caller something for their time and effort.

Longbranch Coffeehouse is in downtown Carbondale at 100 E. Jackson, one block north of Main St (IL 13 West) and a half block east of Illinois Ave (US 51 North). (It's just east of the RR tracks.) We'll be dancing in the back room.
