Ever hear of "flash mobs"? They’re spontaneous gatherings that bring people together on short notice for a brief period of time. Well, here’s your chance to join dancers and musicians for a Flash Dance – an opportunity to dance in a public place. For more on Flash Dances see: http://www.childgrove.org/flashdance_howto.htm
Join us on Tuesday, July 21, as we Flash Dance at the MUNY Opera before "The Music Man". If you respond quickly, you can also nab a free ticket for the show. A limited number of tickets are available and can be gotten by emailing Greg at grjmj@swbell.net.

How to find us / Where to park
Where to park
The best place to park is along the roads to the west and south of the MUNY, as shown in blue outlines in the map below. Click here for General Driving Directions to the MUNY

Directions from Hampton (Hampton is open from Oakland Avenue, or you can reach it from I-44.)
If you're entering Forest Park from Hampton Ave off Oakland:
1) Turn Right at Wells Drive (You'll see the Zoo's dramatically rusting sculpture to your left.) There is a new rotary here and you will turn right at the first opportunity to end up on Wells Drive, parallel to the bike path.
2) At the 2nd rotary, take the 3rd exit, just past the Jewel Box. The street is McKinley, but you won't see the sign until after you've made the turn. You won't see a MUNY sign either, but the sign will say “Zoo, Jewel Box…) The Jewel Box will be on your right as you begin to descend a steep hill.
3) Once you pass the Jewel Box and start downhill on McKinley, your best parking options are 2/10 to 4/10 of a mile away, parking on McKinley as close to the bottom of the hill as you can. If all the spots on McKinley look taken, turn Left onto Concourse Dr (about 3/10 of a mile down the hill.) You can also scan the area near the Boat House for parking.
4) Look for us picnicking on or near the Rehearsal Stage. We’ll be the group in Red.
Color to Wear: RED
The MUNY has asked that we have a “color scheme” for our dancers, so please wear something Red.

Can I see the show?
A limited number of tickets has been set aside for our group. If you’d like a free ticket to see the show, email Greg Rohde at grjmj@swbell.net. You'll need to pick up your ticket before we start dancing or it may be given away to someone else.
What makes this place special?
The MUNY is the country's oldest and largest outdoor musical theater. We're fortunate to have it right in our own backyard. Here you can read a history of the MUNY.
Know dancers in other cties?
Send them this link so they can host their own Flash Dances: http://www.childgrove.org/flashdances/flashdance_howto.htm
