2:00pm: Contras & Waltzes
Ever hear of "flash mobs"? They're spontaneous gatherings that bring people together on short notice for a brief period of time. Well, please join other dancers and musicians for a "flash dance" – an opportunity to waltz or contra in a public place. Here’s your chance to dance in a beautiful setting in a large pavilion on a hilltop overlooking St. Charles County. (Protection from rain or cool weather, too, though you may want to bring a jacket if it's cool.)
Schedule
12:00pm: Join us early for lunch, great soup, salads, sandwiches.
2:00 - 4:00pm: Contra dance and waltz to the music of Chicory. A donation of $4 is requested to help pay for the band.
6:00pm Stay for a quail and boar dinner. Or head over to Tafra Perryman's in Belleville, IL for a party.

What makes this place Special?
Featured in "Better Homes and Gardens" this 42-acre nursery and farm has a country atmosphere with a century-old home overlooking the beautiful Missouri River valley. The house is surrounded by patios, ponds with waterfalls, swans and ducks, and gardens. The Patio Café & Wine Garden serves brunches, lunches and theme dinners.
The dinner party theme on the day we're there is "A Night with the Ghost of Daniel Boone". You can make reservations to have a wonderful quail/boar dinner later after the dancing.
