Ever hear of "flash mobs"? They're spontaneous gatherings that bring people together on short notice for a brief period of time . Well, here's your chance to join dancers and musicians for a "flash dance" - an opportunity to waltz or contra in a public place.

Sat Sep 27 2008 10-11am 1-2:30pm	Under the Arch: Park Palooza Band: Mound City Slickers Callers: Hatchlings Location: on the grass under the Arch. Grand Center: Dancing in the Street Band: Mound City Slickers Callers: Hatchlings Location: Grandel Square Stage, on Grandel across from Powell Hall. Here's a map to the Events of the Day. Come early and plan to stay awhile! The the Neighborhood Watch Stilts International (NWSI) from Newcastle Upon Tyne, U.K. will perform “sculptural ballet on stilts” at 3 pm and 6 pm. St Louis' very own Blackthorn Morris team will "open" for NWSI at 2:45 pm and 5:45 pm. Here's a video from 2007. We're in there (briefly).
Sun Sep 28 2008 1-2pm	Here are a few of us standing by an arch leg. Under the Arch: Park Palooza Band: Reel Women and the Jigelos, Callers: Hatchlings, Location: on the grass under the Arch. Plan to stay around afterwards to dance some Lewis and Clark Era dances from 2-4 pm with Dance Discovery.
Sep 6, 2008	Pool Pavilion in Tower Grove Park. Dancing from 6-7pm, Movie "Dumbo" shown at dusk. More dancing at 7:30pm at the Monday Club at the First Saturday Hatchling Dance.
