Kimmswick 1995-6

Here's a photo that was taken at Kimmswick during the all-night July 4th dance in 1995, at 3:33AM.

Lest we forget.

Yes, this was our dance floor. Sloped a bit, here and there, and watch out for the pole. Okay, you couldn't fit many people on it. But we hardly noticed. It was ours, and there was a lot of love and history in them there boards.

These photos are from the scrapbook we made at the last Kimmswick at the Lee Farm in 1996.

And the barn. This was the belly of the beast, if the dance floor was the heart. Here we ate, and cooked, and hung around, and jammed, and sang, and slept in the loft if we didn't have a tent and didn't mind having people around all night long. It was rugged. We even had to work the espresso machine ourselves.
Here is another view of the barn, from the back, showing the beauty of the Missouri countryside.

It's a bit tough to see everyone in this little picture taken outside the barn in 1996, but click on the picture for a close-up, and then click again for a really big picture. Hope you have broadband.

Happy Dancing!
