MO DANCES Cards, CDs and Book
Missouri Choreographers Gone Wild!
Starting in about 2008, our "Hatchling" callers discovered that they could write dances, too, and get them tried out at the Calling Parties. There ensued a kind of creative explosion, and a lot of very good dances got written and pre-vetted at our Calling Parties. MO DANCES Volume I (2008) has 19 contra favorites - including Monday, Fly Around My Pretty Little Miss, and XYZ - and 8 English dances. MO DANCES Volume II (2011) has 36 (!) contras, many of which are fast becoming national favorites.
The card sets make great gifts for your caller friends, and the CDs make great gifts for your dancer friends. Dance gypsies find these are good to have on hand to give to the folks who so kindly put them up when they travel. There are a few Volume I booklets left too - we don't plan to print more unless the demand is pretty high, so if that's the format you prefer, order now!
