Waltz Parties

Join us once a month as we dance waltzes and other social dances in a beautiful setting.  Click here for the Waltz Party schedule  Each evening consists of a one-hour workshop followed by two hours of dancing to live music.  About 2/3 of the dances are waltzes, with the others being a mix of polka, tango, schottisch, hambo or ragtime.  For $10, you can enjoy a workshop, two hours of live music, and refreshments.  No partner or experience is necessary.  Please wear or bring soft soled shoes.

The dances are held at the Monday Club, 37 S. Maple, in Webster Groves. Here's a map.

Gaye Fifer and Wayne AlbrightWorkshop: Wayne & Gaye's Waltzing

Leader: Wayne Albright and Gaye Fifer

Wayne and Gaye teach Waltz Lessons at about twenty dance weekends a year.  They are very much in demand for their clear teaching style, their love for dance, and their ability to break down complex moves into manageable bits.  Click here http://www.wa64.com/Waltz.html for their website and you can watch video clips of some of their lessons and/or print out descriptions of some of the moves they teach.  You can use the site to learn new waltz moves or brush up on some you may  already know.
